Privacy policy

What we store

If you subscribe: your email address, when you subscribed, and whether you confirmed. Nothing else about you. If you only read the site, we store nothing.

Who touches it

Emails are delivered through Amazon SES (EU region, Frankfurt) and managed by self-hosted software on our own server. The list is never sold, shared, or used for anything but the newsletter.

Cookies and tracking

The site sets one functional cookie (form security) and loads nothing from third parties — no ad scripts, no tracking pixels. We count visits with self-hosted, cookieless analytics: aggregate numbers only (pages, referrers, visit length), with no way to identify or follow an individual visitor. In emails, links pass through our own redirect so we can count clicks per link as anonymous totals, and our email delivery provider records standard delivery and open events.

Logs

Our server keeps standard access logs (which include IP addresses) for operations and abuse prevention; they rotate and are not used for tracking or profiling.

Leaving

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, honored immediately. For anything else — including deleting your address entirely — write to floatas [ eta ] outlook . com and it will be done.
